CPP Investments Domestiques joined nearly 5,000 riders in cycling from Toronto to Niagara Falls, helping raise $20.6 million for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in the 17th annual Ride to Conquer Cancer . It was an amazing event, featuring incredibly moving examples of survivors who are here today because of the life-saving work of the PMCC. We look forward to next year, growing our team and supporting the fight against cancer.
Our mentorship program has sparked some incredible connections. Take Katie and Nancy, these two hit it off immediately, sharing ideas, learning from each other, and growing together. Since we launched our new mentoring platform “Together” last year, 682 of our colleagues have joined, forming 361 pairings across different levels and departments. They've collectively invested over 720 hours in this program, fostering personal and professional growth. As Katie (left, a Senior Advisor in Talent) says, "Everyone has a different journey and advice to pass on, no matter where they're at in their career. I tell everyone, don’t be afraid to share your experiences." Nancy, an executive assistant, finds it inspiring to see where she could be in the future and encourages others to take advantage of mentoring opportunities. “It's important to step outside your comfort zone and connect with others.“
