Congratulations to CHRISTUS Children’s for being recognized again as a Magnet-designated facility, achieving the gold standard in nursing excellence! First awarded in 2018, we received re-designation they are one of only 52 children’s hospitals globally to achieve this honor! Magnet designation, awarded by the ANCC’s Magnet Recognition Program, measures the strength and quality of nursing programs. CHRISTUS Children’s is the first and only freestanding hospital in San Antonio dedicated to children and pregnant women, and the only one in south Texas with this designation.
