We had an awesome time at our Summer Kickoff cookout at the Garner office — complete with turkey burgers and turkey dogs grilled by none other than Jay Jandrain and Neal Walsh! Huge thank you to everyone who brought sides, showed up with great energy and made the event a fun and memorable one. It’s moments like these that bring our teams closer and remind us why Butterball is so special.

Last week, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our 2024–2025 Management Trainees! This milestone was extra special, as it marked the very first class to complete our newly redesigned rotational experience. Over the past year, our 18 Management Trainees participated in a transformative program that offered exposure across all Butterball locations and departments, fostering both personal and professional growth. The program concluded with a week-long celebration, where each Management Trainee shared their final pitch statements with plant complex managers, executive leadership, and peers—highlighting their most impactful takeaways. We’re also thrilled to share that all 18 Management Trainees received full-time offers to continue their career journeys with Butterball, LLC. We look forward to the success and impact this talented group will continue to bring to our organization. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our team members across the company who supported this program. Your time, knowledge, and commitment to developing future leaders made a lasting impact. This program’s success would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
On April 25th, Gator Pelletier became one of the latest honorees to join the prestigious N.C. Poultry Federation Hall of Fame. The former Butterball Head of Live Operations was inducted surrounded by family, friends and long-time co-workers. We are so proud of Gator on this well-earned distinction!
In April, Butterball's Carthage, Missouri plant celebrated earth day by organizing and participating in a Carthage Town Park cleanup. Thank you to all our volunteers that made this event possible! "When we plant, clean and care for the earth, we are not just refreshing our towns, we are renewing our Butterball spirit. Carthage grows stronger, greener, and prouder with every helping hand and that is why the event was important for us to support." - Dawn Long, Human Resources Generalist
