iI had a group interview with 8 people. The interviewers were very friendly and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. They asked questions popcorn style and everyone got a chance to answer.

The interview process was a lot more competitive than I expected. It started with 8 of us in a group interview, then down to 3 of us in a 2nd group interview and then it was down to just myself with 2 managers for my final 1-on-1 interview. There was another group of 6 where only 1 girl got it. So only 2 hires out of 14. And we aren't talking dumb college kids interviewing. Everyone had already graduated, some had held research positions at hospitals, the manager at lulu is actually a PHD. Lulu is clearly not your run-of-the-mill retail job.
You have to be a goal setter, a go getter. You have to be ambitious and express that in your interview. Of course you don't want to be the person in the group that talks over people but you need to be confident and express your interests. Show that you have passion in what you do. They really like someone with a plan. When they ask you what you want to do in 2 years or 5 years - you don't have to say "still be with lululemon" they want their employees to actually plan to be business owners or following their crazy dreams. If you actually want to move up the ladder and be at Lulu in 5 years - GREAT! But make sure you also state a goal outside of the company.
There was another girl in my group that was awesome. Super sweet and energetic but I think she bombed it when they asked about her life goals and she didn't have much to say. Just that she wanted to be happy. Which is an awesome goal - I admit - but she needed to emphasize how she would get there - what she needed to do in order to be happy. Seriously - I can't stress enough how much they love goal driven individuals.
