I was given an email 5 days in advance of the group interview after I had applied about two weeks earlier. It said to arrive at 8AM dress casual as we would be sitting on the floor (Most people wore Lululemon clothing, I wore a bright pink lululemon t-shirt and my hair in a bun). I arrived a little later and was one of the last to join the group. I was guided to the back of the room and introduced to two interviewers and we all sat on yoga mats.
They passed around an availability sheet then asked us questions. It was very casual and they made it clear we didn't have to answer all of the questions. The one girl doing the interview didn't say anything and just sat there taking notes on her clipboard and avoided eye contact at all times and the other one seemed really miserable and almost annoyed every time I would answer a question. Didn't see her smile once. (Maybe it was too early for her?).
Some of the other candidates in the interview were nice and I enjoyed hearing their stories and sharing mine, but like I said the interviewers seemed really uninterested in what we had to say.
Overall, it made me really get a difference sense for the store. As a customer, I always felt like the employees actually cared about what my goals were, but during this interview it seemed like every time I wanted to say something they just wanted me to shut up. (I think I even caught one of the interviewers rolling her eyes when I was talking about my love for hockey).
They said they would contact us the day after the interview regardless of whether or not we move on to the next interview (which seems like a lot for a seasonal entry level job). It's been two days now and I've heard nothing. I felt the interview went well and I'm a studying yoga intructor so I'm suprised I didn't hear anything. It really just made me lose trust in the store after they say they would contact me but never did. I've kind of lost confidence and respect for the store ever since the interview (which sucks because I used to like it). I've realize the whole "love for goal setting" and "getting to know you tatics" are just a ploy to get you to buy stuff.

Came in without many expectations. Was a group interview (5-6 others) over coffee that was paid for. Store manager, assistant manager and an employee interviewed us. One was keeping note, and two were asking us questions. You got volunteer to answer first, but eventually it just turned into going around in the order we sat.

There is only one round with three behavioral questions. The interviewers include an assistant store manager and a guest experience lead, who will assess my skills and experience. It is a group interview, and there are 7 people including myself.
