I experienced significant shortcomings in the communication and candidate experience aspects of the interview process. The process started with a case study that was requested in advance. The case study was addressed only superficially, and I did not have the opportunity to properly elaborate on my architectural choices. In addition to technical competence, communication courtesy, transparency, and a consistent feedback culture toward candidates are also critical for companies.

My experience with HR was very bad. She called me after work on friday and said she wanted to send a case. I told her I was busy and asked if I could postpone it. She gave a "now or never" type of response. I also tried to reschedule a review, but she didn't even reply to my emails.
