This was a bizarre interview..... it seemed to be a prescreening call done over video. The interviewer was clearly reading directly off a script and I am also 99% sure he was watching a video during the "conversation" as his eyes were elsewhere and I could hear the audio. When I mentioned that I heard an "echo" he apologized and turned it off. The conversation took less than 6 minutes. I got the feeling it was probably an intern I was speaking with probably going through the motions of prescreening, as this person clearly had no interest in getting to know me. It would have been better as a phone call as it was less than professional and even if they call me back for the next round I wouldn't even consider going any further in the process.
