HR is really lovely, I had a really good conversation. Even if the position is not suited for me, I still like this company. I hope they have a new position in the future.

Three rounds :
1. Recruiter call
2. 1 hr technical experience round with manager - Managers are not well-trained to interview candidates. The technical questions are not well-formed. I basically had to guess what they are asking. Didn't move beyond this round.
3. System design round

Not going to sugar-coat it, quite an unpleasant interviewing experience. First, I was contacted by one of their recruiter at my WORK email about an opportunity with their growing team. I figured recruiters would never contact candidates at their workplace, so I ignored it at first. Recruiter followed up a total of 3 times over a couple of weeks, mentioning they really want me to consider them since they think I'm an "exceptional" fit. Agreed to listen to what they had to offer, and scheduled a call with them. On the call, one of the first thing they said is "please send me your resume to see if you're a good fit". I guess I wasn't such an "exceptional fit" after all? The rest of the call was quite weird, as if I was the one that applied to their company and I had to sell myself to them, asking me unexpected behavioral questions when this was supposed to be an introductory call. Anyways, on the call you learn that they're not as remote as they claim at first (they decide if you can be fully remote based on how well your technical interviews go ), and they refused to give me salary ranges, wanting me to give a number first. Recruiter promised to follow up, never did, and when I contacted them for an update, I received an automated rejection email. Disappointing since the company and their products looked promising.
