These guys are pretty arrogant for a company that’s only been selling cyber security services for a couple years. There was a panel interview which consisted with a 4 people with IT backgrounds not cybersecurity. During the panel they grilled me with asking “gotcha” questions rather than taking the time and to talk to me about my experience and how I could bring value to company with my 20 years cyber security experience. The panel interview left me wanting nothing to do with these guys. The cyber group is full of washed up IT folks that have broken into cyber the past couple years. Hard pass!

HR / Staffing screening followed by Hiring Manager. This was a breeze and I liked their interview questions. Once you clear the initial Hiring manager session, I had couple of technical interviews with their Lead Architects. Process was straight forward and fast

Question 1
Network architecture and design a solution for a customer scenario
A recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screen and man it was disorganized. They immediately launched into talking about the wrong position and location. When I pointed this out, I had to be put on hold twice while my application/resume were pulled up. Recruiter sounded surprised and thrown off as to why the city I applied for the position in was different than my current city (because I'm moving). The confusion leads me to believe my application and resume weren't even looked at prior to the call. Are these appointments auto-scheduled by software or something??? I was barely asked any questions due to all the previous nonsense and was just happy to get off the phone.

Question 1
No real interview questions, just ones clarifying what I actually applied for.
Thank you for the feedback on your phone screen. Our initial phone screens are designed to understand the candidate fit for each unique position. Our recruiters always begin interviews by clarifying the role location and expectations to make sure we are complying with all applicable laws. While we encounter many candidates who are moving, it is important to understand the timing and logistics and how they may fit with the timeline for the role.
