Was reached out to by a recruiter several times before I decided to give it a shot. Initial video interview with the recruiter went well. They were friendly and informative and made the culture sound pretty inviting. I got a second round interview with two of the Engineers (one director and one IC). They showed up a few minutes late to the interview and seemed very disorganized and not particularly friendly or welcoming. They told me that the recruiter was supposed to send me a preparation email for the coding test but he did not so I went in to the interview blind. They sent me a link and although they can see my answers live on their end through the code pen, they told me to share my screen. Throughout, as I was attempting to read and answer questions, any time I paused to think they would rush me and tell me that they have other interviews to get to. Throughout the first ten minutes of the interview I was very tempted to just bail and tell them it was not for me but I powered through it despite how rude they were. I never heard back from the recruiter and the folks who interviewed me which was so incredibly disrespectful of my time. Wasted my time with these people. I could not imagine working here.
