Had 3 interviews, HR, Technical Lead, and Chief S. Chain officer, all interviews went really well. Starting w. HR, i had asked for a certain package, which they assured will be okay. After the 3 rounds, i get turned down because they dont have a budget for this package. They had decided to go for someone " less experienced and would not cost them as much!"
