I applied on 11/11. The recruiter reached out on 11/18 and we scheduled a phone screen for 11/21. The screen was cut short as the recruiter's baby was crying which was obviously distracting her. I suggested we meet later and she wanted to continue so I kept my responses brief. I then met with the hiring manager 11/26 who was very nice and informative. She asked if the recruiter had notified me that the role's title had changed to specialist versus lead which she had not. I wasn't bothered by the title change so much as what it meant as far as negotiations and career opportunities. The next two interviews on 12/5 and 12/6 were seamless. I was scheduled for an interview 12/12 and I waited 15 minutes, screenshot the call/meeting details (verifying I was on the correct call) and emailed the recruiter and scheduler asking if the interview needed to be rescheduled as the interviewer had not joined the call. The interviewer told the recruiter they had also waited 15 minutes although I know for certain I was on the correct meeting. That interview was rescheduled to 12/17 and there wasn't an issue. I had my final interview scheduled for 12/19 and the interviewer did not show up. Again I emailed and called the scheduler and was told there was some issue on their side and I was rescheduled for a couple hours later. The same issue happened again so I called and emailed the scheduler again and this time I was told the interviewer was driving home. I was rescheduled for a third time on the same day and the interviewer was about 5 minutes late. The excuse she provided for the day was that the interviews were scheduled in Mountain Time which I agree may be confusing although the interviewer said they were in MT so I am not sure how they could be confused. Zoom/calendars, etc. also add the interview in your local time for this reason. The interviews all seemed to go well once they actually happened and the team was very nice. I was disappointed when the weeks passed...1, 2 and finally 3 weeks later on 1//9 when I finally decided to reach out for an update. At that point I was told they extended an offer to someone else. The interview process and expectations were never communicated to me. For instance, I was never told how many interviews to expect or any estimate on when I should expect to hear back. I understand I started interviewing before the holidays although I was told that the candidate would start mid-January so the entire team should have expected they would need to make time for the process if the plan was to hire early January to allow for proper notice. This morning 1/13 I finally received an email stating I was not selected after a two month process.
