1) Recruiting screening 2) Hiring manager chat 3) Onsite with team members 4) Head of department chat Pros: The interview process was great. I worked with a phenomenal recruiter who was very efficient and truly cares about the candidate experience. I met with the team and thought everyone was intelligent, kind, and empathetic. A good bunch of people for sure. Cons: While the process was good, the role changed at the end of the interview. It was a bit out of the blue; the JD did not emphasize what the head of the department truly wanted. I invested a lot of my free time into prepping and I could have gotten it back if I was screened for certain background skills in the beginning. I know people change their minds, but it's crazy to me everyone isn't fully aligned before making a role available to the public. I'm thankful to have a job still, but imagine if a laid off candidate went through this process and the role changed last minute? It can be devastating. I'll give a positive rating since the recruiting team and hiring team were great. Hoping this feedback helps stronger alignment on role responsibilities in the future.
