A recruiter from Zoom initially reached out to me over LinkedIn to interview for the position. After our first conversation, I had 3 other interviews with the hiring manager and other various team members. I thought things went well and apparently so did the recruiter when he called me and told me he heard all positive feedback from the team. This is why I was so surprised to get an email 2 hours later that I did not get the job. I’d rather have not gotten a phone call and just got the rejection email. I emailed him back and asked for any feedback from the team since he initial said he heard good things and never heard back from him. This puts a bad taste in my mouth and makes me thankful I did not end up getting a job offer from Zoom.
