I was contacted by a recruiter from Zoolatech for a Senior Data Engineer role and while the scheduling was fine, the actual interview was disappointing because it was conducted by a mid-level developer who clearly wasn’t confident in the questions being asked. I still provided full explanations for the coding challenge and architectural questions, and the interviewer confirmed that all my answers were correct. After the interview, I received no feedback at all, and despite following up with the recruiter, she completely ghosted me, which reflects a highly unprofessional and disorganized recruitment process.
