I was sent a link for a HireVue interview. There were pre-recorded videos of their "interviewer", which were quite awkward; he sounded robotic and as if he couldn't focus enough to ask the question, which left a slightly negative impression on me. They gave one extra try per question. After submitting my response, I received an email to forward my portfolio to their manager. I was not informed whether that meant I passed the first stage, or if it was mandatory for everyone, regardless of their hirevue interview.
