Sent in my resume. They say they looked over it and wanted to do a phone interview. They gave me 5 different time slots and I choose one. I choose Friday around 2:30. They told me it would be at 2:45pm. So I took my break 15 min early from my current job. I waited 15 min and no call at all. So I emailed them back. They said that there was an emergency and they couldn't do it. I don't know what type of emergency would appear on a Friday afternoon other than maybe the Keg ran out and someone needed to pick up more.
So I got another time slot. This one was slightly easier to deal with since this one was at the end of my lunch break. Again I waited and waited and then had to go back to work. Finally 20 min after the initial call was supposed to happen I got a call. At my current job I am not allowed to take personal calls during the shift. So I emailed back and they apologized again. This time it was because they overbooked the time slot. Gee....maybe next time don't do that?
So finally the third time was the charm. I spoke to a young lady who then asked me questions about the company, not about me and my qualifications. She wanted to know if I knew what they did. I thought I did pretty good until she indicated that I had no clue what I was talking about. The question that I was trying to answer was wrong because she wasn't listening to what I said. I mentioned that Yelp tries to help businesses iron out their flaws through their reviews in an indirect way. She came back and said I was wrong that they have nothing to do with their reviews, that they don't write them, that the public does. I tried to rebuttal but she went on to another question.
People, read the reviews of this place before going for an interview here.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
