Applied online and received an email 2 weeks later from a recruiter to schedule a 10 minute phone interview. The recruiter was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, I wasn't dealing with the same person on the day of the scheduled phone interview. The woman who interviewed me called late, seemed lazy, and was sounded irritated and rude. There was a lot of background chatter, I specifically remember this because I had trouble understand her and requested for her to repeat herself at times. With that said, I'm sure Yelp is a great company with some awesome employees, however the one I dealt with made the interview experience a negative one.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

One question they asked during my interview was what specifically about the role made me feel it was a strong fit for my background and experience.
The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
