Spent a month playing phone tag with the owner/publisher, we talked for about twenty minutes on the phone, then told me to come in, meet her in person, and shadow the sales staff for a day. When I got there, she was late, and no one on staff had heard that I would be coming. When the owner finally showed up, she was told I was there, then disappeared into her office without speaking to me. After hanging around for a few hours, I asked a staffer if she could find out when the owner would be ready to talk to me. I was informed that she'd left and would be back. I never did talk to her in person, or hear from her again. I didn't get the job.
