I had a 30 minute pre-screen with a recruiter. Then I had a 1hr virtual interview with the Director of Analytic Engineering, and a Principal Software Engineer. It was friendly and cordial. Neither of them knew much about modern web development or best practices, which was what they were interviewing candidates for.
I had what I considered a great conversation with these two people. I even volunteered to screen share, and I demo'd a product I was creating at the time, which was over and above anything they were working on.
Then nothing. I never got a rejection, an offer letter, or anything. In fact, I never received any bit of correspondence after that interview -- not even after 2 weeks passed, and I sent the recruiter a follow-up, thanking everyone for their time and wishing them luck in their search.
