The whole process is redundant and confusing. The question lists were mostly the same, except for the brain teasers. Despite successfully completing a take-home test, the subsequent interviews, each lasting an hour, seemed redundant. 6 people asked repetitive questions in 6 hours, and I had to discuss the same concepts multiple times, even though I had addressed them in the take-home test.
Before the 6th interview, I was informed by HR and the headhunter multiple times that I performed exceptionally well and was a top runner. However, after the sixth interview, I was notified the hiring manager had reviewed all comments so far and decided not to proceed with my application. This “surprising" news came along with the cancellation of the seventh interview, on WEEKENDS.
It seems that they don't respect the candidates' time or effort at all. They could have simplified the process or notified me much earlier.
While I was promised more details on Monday, nothing. Not surprised at all. This company has been placed on my blacklist. Consider carefully before investing, or wasting your precious time on this ridiculous process.
