Contacted about a month after applying. Hiring Manager who was the direct supervisor was lovely and kept things mostly conversational. Told it would be about a week to go through all the interviews. After a week the hiring manger kept me updated on delays and was told they would be in touch the following week. I received an offer that was on the lower range offered on the job description. I attempted to negotiate but the person offering the position was not willing to negotiate by giving a weak excuse that I was underqualified even though it was mentioned many times by the hiring manager that I was overqualified during my interview. Big red flags when there was such a disconnect between the person hiring and the person offering the position. Also they were not willing to negotiate within their own salary range whatsoever making me question the viability of the company's financial status. Looks like I dodged a bullet.
