I interviewed twice with World Market. First with an associate then with the store manager. It was a very standard interview, mostly focusing on what work was required and if I was a good fit for it. I was hired primarily for freight since my store had a lot of turn over at my time of hire in this department. I was quickly added to the time sheet for various other positions in the store including sales associate and cashier. There were no questions regarding either of those positions in the interview, just whether I would be fine with possibly doing other work in the store.
The interview by the store manager was largely the same as the associate interview, just more promising since I was talking to the person who could actually hire me. If you pass the interviews and are offered a job, be prepared for a relatively low salary. My store didn't budge an inch on that initial salary at all, and offered nearly no options for a later increase. Be prepared for low pay.
