The interview process starts with a screen call with the recruiter, talking about your experience, area of expertise, why us, etc. The next round was a 45 mins pair programming round using HackerRank. The interviewers were very helpful and you should treat them as if they are your teammate. Basically, communicating your thought process, break down problems and bounce ideas with them. Subsequent round was a 90 mins technical round. You'll be asked foundational tech questions, talked about your past experiences and ended up with a system design question. If you passed the technical rounds, there are 2 additional rounds: 1. Product round with one of the Product Manager, where you'll be assessed for your product oriented thinking. 2. The last round was a 60 mins round with the team lead + one of the senior engineer from the team that you'll likely join if you accepted the offer. It was more of a behavioural round + bit more in depth about the area that you'll be working on. Overall, the interview process was quite lengthy but the interviewers are really friendly and supportive. They also shared feedback from the interviewers, which is really great so that you can calibrate and improve yourself.

I had a worst experience with WISE of my entire job career. I applied through the company career page and I received a formal interview call as a screening with the recruiter. I joined the meeting as per the schedule and the recruiter didn't even come on time. She joined the meeting after some time then the original time. Even after joining she didn't even say a single word and started questioning me, I was expecting a brief intro from her and ME. But she didn't do that. As soon as I started answering the question she started her new topic of questions, she didn't wait for me to complete my answer. The worst nightmare for me because being on that 30 min call was horrible and this made me feel even if they offer me the job, I will not take it because of seeing what type of persons do they hire and How come they managed to get a place in WISE.

The process that I participated in was divided into:
1. Screen with HR
2. "Pair Programming. w/ 2 devs" (Implement a Token Manager) It is not an algorithm test
3. Feedback
I didn't receive an offer.
In pair programming, don't expect to be a real pair programmer or a collaborative implementation (the "How you work together with us to solve the problem" is a lie). Even if you led the pair to the right solution, if they prompt you with questions, you are already out.
The red flags pointed out by the dev team don't make any sense, although it is a pair programming and the right approach/solution was given, red flags were pointed out like:
- Asked for clarification about the problem (I should not ask)
- Implement the right problem when there is a question about missing parts during the interview (Except in pair programming)
Although I had helped Auth0 implement their Token Manager and had implemented it multiple times, according to the Wise devs, because I asked for clarifications and was prompted by them with questions about the implementation, even providing the right solution during a PAIR-PROGRAMMING, they classified me as a JR~MID Developer (11 YoE in big North American companies).
So I do believe that:
1 They are not hiring anyone OR
2 The position was already closed by another candidate BEFORE the test OR
3 They are looking for a unicorn
4 stages, recruiter call, 30 mins coding interview, 120 mins tech interview (system design and coding stage) with 2 engineers, 30 mins product interview, final interview with 2 managers/ lead. The process is about one month
