Very poor refection on the company. The interview process started with a screen that was fine to explain your background. Where it gets really ridiculous is the next stages. First off the recruiter is pretty much non responsive and you get zero information on the interview process. E.g I specifically asked what the interview process was and what areas it would focus on e.g Data architecture, engineering, platform design etc but got no response.
First interview:
Could not get any information on what the interview was even about as recruiter did not reply. Went well and JDI focused
Second Interviewer:
Got email 10 mins before hand that the interviewer could not attend. I understand things happen but I had to email the recruiter multiple times to have this rescheduled to which I got no reply until eventually it was scheduled in. Enquired what this technical interview was about and got no reply. Anyway long story short spent time checking glassdoor and company/interviewer to figure out what technical area would be asked and prepped for compliance, end to end data design and pipeline design. The interviewer shows up and asks me data architecture questions to which I had prepped nothing and as such didn't answer at all well.
Overall the most frustrating part of this interview is I feel there was no reason it should have not went well other than I simple could not figure out the process and it really comes across as the interviewer shows up and checks do you know what they know at a given time and if you have not guessed what area of tech they will ask you about you will struggle. Honestly very disappointing and a very poor reflection on the company as it is meant to be a great place to work I hear.
Result:
No idea as I got no response from the recruiter when I followed up twice but really disappointed as I really feel I could have easily passed the technical interview

Question 1
Thoughts on data warehousing, thoughts on compliance in data etc. Honestly, I couldn't even tell you the theme as it all seemed top f the head
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Wise (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
- Recruiter screen assessing experience and fit etc.
- Domain specific interview focusing on specific aspects of the job, situational questions on past experience
- System design exercise (HackerRank remote whiteboarding)
The screening and domain-specific round were great, gave me a good feel for the company and nature of the work, and I progressed through with very positive feedback. Unfortunately, for the next stage I was put through a generic system design round which had zero relevance to the role I was interviewing for, and for which I had less than 24 hours to prepare once I was told the format. Unsurprisingly I wasted my own time, and that of the 2 engineers politely humouring me through the exercise whilst I crashed and burned. Standard rejection email arrived quickly afterwards, and Wise were permanently added to my "don't bother" list. Depressing that in the current market employers are still rejecting proven-qualified candidates on arbitrary and inflexible steps like this.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Wise (Tallinn) en avr. 2025
Entretien
Went through multiple stages. First stage was general check with HR. Second stage was practical technical interview focused on system design. Third interview was with direct manager and business stakeholder.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Technical interview questions were very much focused on system design. I was supposed to create a solution. Questions were either directional, trying to get an answer to their liking or explanatory where they expected to hear both good and bad sides of each design choice.
