Interview process was terrible. Personally, I felt my experience in the Fintech industry was quite high, though I was 28 years old than the people who interviewed me. Nobody in the interview panel wanted to know about my differentiated strategy, in expansion to new countries, avoiding capital injection problems, increasing return on investments, and balancing the underlying systems and processes. A little racism was noticed, specifically from one of the members, like they don't want an Asian to interfere with Europeans business, and never cared about any consequences. I do understand that any company takes atleast 5-6 years to break even in their business, but there is much more to do for the world. Regardless of the age, everyone must be given the opportunity to express their vision and mission and what they exactly want from the company, as well as what the concerned person wants to contribute to the company.

Why do you see TransferWise as a future, and not other competitors? Do you feel they are sick and TransferWise is best?
Did a first round, was quite impressed with their system and processes, it was interesting to learn about the company in detailed and they are a budding fintech, seems like a fun environment .

- Take candidates for granted - 5 interviews with feedback as unsuitable for role based on experience. Waste of candidates' time
- Referred for another vacancy where recruiter didn't turn up and then reported back saying I was absent

Random questions, like what currency would you report sales in for Wise?
Was directly contacted by the recruiter and asked to join a call with the manager. The manager arrived and just said:" let me tell you about our company and then you can tell me about yourself". No greetings, no interest in the candidate. I felt he had come with a decision in his mind already! I never felt he was interested in knowing my background as a team member. I will not work for someone like this.
