Highly rated company to work for and great reputation. Market competitiveness with salary and benefits, outstanding company values.
Initial call with HR Generalist for screening. Check!
Moved to next level, video interview with hiring manager of Customer Success. Check!
His assessment I possess strong customer success skill but weak on network knowledge. BUT still advanced to next step to a Video call with IT Director. All three individuals are personable, professional and clearly know their domains.
Get news! Called back early from my vacation to take Technical Assessment test (not impressive results but already knew I was weak in networking) and meet in person with hiring manager and potential CSM colleague.
I totally bombed in person interview, I have an idea where, definitely felt very comfortable and must have turned them off. No feedback offered. It’s been Radio silence despite my sending a thank you email. A bit ironic because Customer Success Manager is about communicating both good and bad news. But as Mother always said, “if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything.”
Advice definitely get certified in MS Network and stick with a narrow, precise response script to question , don’t reveal too much about yourself.
To be successful at WingSwept you MUST be a self starter, there is 2 week training program offered but after that you will likely be working independently.
Good luck and I hope you get an offer as it does appear to be a solid employer.

I was invited to come in for an in-person interview and was a bit surprised to be sat down in front of a computer in a small room for an 80+ question, 45-min "Network Engineer II" assessment. I felt the quiz didn't match up with what the "Customer Success Manager" job description listed as requirements but still made a point to tell my interviewer that I'm open to learning what they need even though the questions were very unfamiliar to me.
They assured me that the test wasn't really applicable to the role and that they'd still like me to talk to their hiring manager. A Zoom interview was scheduled for a few days later and it seemed to go really well. I was told I would fit right in and that they'd email me to set up a final interview with the Tech Manager - then didn't hear from anyone for 3 days.
I reached out to ask about the final interview but got a response saying "Sorry about that! We decided to go with someone else." Overall, very confusing interview process.
