After a brief telephone call I got called in for a meeting. An official of the company and the managing director were present. They told me they are opening an office in Malaysia to support their overseas business and went into a lot of detail about what they do - which was very impressive.
Overall it went really well and I was told they will schedule another meeting in a couple of days to discuss further and show me around the new office.
However, after a few follow up back-and-forth emails where they stated that my experience is a perfect fit for them, they postponed the second meeting the night before it was scheduled to take place. Although the last minute change was inconvenient, I agreed.
After this my all my emails went unanswered. I felt 'ghosted' by the company and rather disappointed as they did not appear to be like those unethical companies who leave candidates hanging - seeing as they are themselves in the recruitment business.
This completely changed my opinion of the firm - very unprofessional.

I applied through Indeed and got a call the very next day. The interview was conducted by an official and also the managing director of the company, who were looking to set up their new office in Malaysia. Overall, the interview went really well.
