I had applied to this company maybe six months ago but didn't get the job but they reached out to me on indeed saying they knew it didn't previously work out but asked if I was still interested and I said yes so we set up an interview time.Someone called me shortly before the interview to see if I was still going to attend and I said yes but realized I was having trouble speaking as I had just come down with the flu. This person kindly offered to reschedule til the next day at 10a and would send me a new invite via email within the next few minutes so I kept an eye out. By 3p it wasn't there so I called and asked for this person who I was at first was told was available but then the receptionist comes back and tells me to shoot her an email which I did and by 5p, no response. The next day around 9:20 I called as I was getting anxious as it was close to our scheduled meeting and again I was immediately told she was available only to have receptionist come back and tell me she was in a meeting. By this time I felt I was being strung along and deceived and told the receptionist the receptionist who offered to leave her a voicemail that my message to her was that I preferred honesty. Within minutes she sends me an email saying they are moving in a different direction. I felt this was very poor and unprofessional behavior and my time and dignity were not honored.
