1. Video call interview about your background, translation experience and work experience
2. Translation test (Chinese and English translation of PowerPoint) which take 90mins and should be returned by the next day
There is no interview. I got several translation tests in the field of Bio, chemistry, Pharma, medical device, software, and IT. Then they got back to me about how to use CAT tool, which means they hired me as a freelancer.
Fist interview with Human Resources about my carreer, intentions, purpose and experience in the field, a translation exam about marketing and translation in general, second interview with the translation team
They interviewed me through a video call. The questions were the reason why I want to work as a translator, what did I do in my school, pay expectation, my best and worst characteristics.
