I applied for the software engineer role and was invited to complete a take-home project. I appreciated the opportunity and dedicated a significant amount of time and effort to produce a thoughtful, quality submission. Unfortunately, after submitting the assignment, I received no feedback or follow-up of any kind—not even a rejection. It's disappointing to invest full 7 days into a project without acknowledgment. While I understand companies are busy, a simple response or brief feedback would have gone a long way in showing respect for candidates’ time.
