      Entretien

This was the most disorganized and impersonal recruitment process I’ve ever experienced. Interview quality: Both interviews felt surreal and uncomfortable. The interviewers appeared unprepared and lacked basic interviewing skills. I was essentially the only one asking questions, and they showed little to no interest in learning about me. Strangely, they were happy to talk at length when I prompted them, which only added to the imbalance. I was genuinely surprised to be invited to a second round. Communication breakdowns: The recruiter initially said they'd send me the second-round invite but never did. After several days, I followed up and was told they had mistyped my email address. In 2025, this is baffling...surely they use an ATS, or at the very least, copy-paste? Missed task instructions: The second interview involved a task I was supposed to receive beforehand, but again, the recruiter forgot to send it. I had to follow up once more just to receive the materials. Lack of engagement: The task was meant to be a collaborative discussion, but the interviewers remained silent throughout. I tried to initiate dialogue, but they gave no input, asked no questions, and left me to talk through everything alone. To avoid total awkwardness, I ended up asking them several questions. Only then did they speak, and again, mostly about themselves. Lack of closure: I was told they'd make a decision within two weeks. After 15 days with no update, I reached out. The response was a generic rejection email, with no feedback whatsoever, despite two interviews and the time I invested in preparing for both. In short, the process reflected a high level of disorganisation and a concerning lack of professionalism. If this is how the company treats candidates, it likely says something about their internal culture. Recruitment isn’t just about assessing applicants, it's also an opportunity for companies to represent themselves. This experience made it clear to me that I would not want to work there. NB: I have rated the interview as "very easy" as I was barely asked any questions and none of them were in any way challenging. However, the uncomfortable atmosphere made it one of the more challenging interviews I've done. It felt as though they already had an internal candidate for the role but had to go through a hiring process for legal reasons.
