Had a phone interview, which was scheduled for 30 mins but went over for more than an hour. The QA Manager sounded nice, knowledgeable.. he gave a background on the QA process and told that they have a automation engineer who would do the techincal screening. He placed me on hold and connected to the automation engineer, and there comes a girl with heavy accent, forget about the accent she could not even speak good english(frame sentence). She sounded really mean and she sounded as if she has no intention of hiring anybody for this role. She asked me a lot of basic text book questionss, commands. To me it sounded higly silly, why would anybody ask you such basic questions, eg: what menu options would you see when you open QTP? define framework? At that point I was like I dont need this job. Now comes another interesting part, she asked me if I have any questions and I asked her about the currrent automation framework that they are using and guess what her reply was... I am interviewing you and not you interviewing me. WOWW never ever had such an experience...
