I had an extremely positive interview experience at WEX. After submitting a resume and cover letter, I was invited for an on-site 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. This 30-minute interview consisted of traditional interview questions (tell me about yourself, why WEX, what do you know about WEX, etc) as well as a handful of behavioral questions (tell me about a stressful situation, tell me about a project that didn't go well, etc). The next round was with ~6 people and lasted 1 hour. The interviewers represented various departments I'd be collaborating with and were of different levels within the company. Again, the questions were largely behavioral. I'd suggest reflecting on challenging projects (and practice articulating how you solved the problem and what you learned) before interviewing. The rest of my interview time was for me to ask questions. I left the experience feeling really excited about the position and the people I met with. It's clear WEX employees are enthusiastic about their work and the direction of the company. Overall, I was very impressed.

4 stages: 1/ phone screen, 2/ Interview for CV overview + competency question interview, 3/ Assessment, 4/ Final Interview with higher management & feedback of the assessment. I would say the whole experience is very positive. The recruiter has been very professional and friendly, built expectation very clearly for next steps and timeline, being very communicative and easy to reach. Interviewers are well prepared, also paying attention to your answer and feedback immediately, you know they are willing to learn about your working style, your personality and let you express yourself. The assessment was well designed consisting technical and conceptual knowledge, a great chance to understand how the duties would be like. I would say the whole process is very professional and regardless of the result, I felt respect and happy to understand the company more.
