Entretien
This interview was held for Westren Digital Malaysia via consultancy GMA Tech / David Gan for .NET Application development and support.
Resumes are screened by the consultancy. There will be one SQL test involved before appearing for face to face interview
SQL test contains 3 questions - to write queries based on two tables which deals with joins and Pivot (sql 2008)
In the face to face interview, there will be again one technical written test for 30 mins
1) contains ASP.NET questions
2) Contains SQL data modeling questions and queries are to be written in Linq
Followed by the written test, technical manager conducts the interview and tests the basic knowledge on the .NET and explains the project details.
If we are shortlisted, the consultancy will call us to discuss on salary negotiation and offer.

Job Description
· Produce design specification based of functional specification obtained.
· Develop software codes based on best practices
· Perform unit & SIT testing before deploy system for UAT test
· Support and solve UAT issues.
· Execute 2nd level production and incident support through close interaction with 1st level support.
· Execute the mid and short term strategic plan in alignment to the changing business environment.
· Ensure risk assessment process is supported by complete technical assessment.
· Ensure software development life cycle adhere to a defined quality assurance framework.
· Execute system delivery through reuse of quality codes and enterprise solution architecture framework.
· Ensure deployment adhere to a defined change and release management.
· Ensure support system availability through controls and monitors of system health.
· Manage and ensure initiatives/projects are delivered in within time, budget and scope.
· Ensure 2nd level incident resolution within defined service level.
Job Requirement
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
· Good programming in skills VB, ASP Classic, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, .NET framework 2.0 or higher , MS SQL - Creating SQL
· Tables, SQL Triggers and writing SQL Stored Procedures in SQL Server 2000/2005
· At least 3-4 year(s) minimum working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Applicants must be able to communicate effectively the result of their analysis.
· Web software development life cycle knowledge

Entretien
A technical role interview though not diving too deep into technical. It was quite easy to pass, as there are no examination given to test. A few question and some common sense added will be sufficient.
