I went to a job fair at a local vons store and met with a district manager. The interview was pretty standard. Just asked your background info, what experience you have, if you have the time to work, etc. That took like 5 minutes and then they give you a call back to interview at a local store location. That interview took about 5 minutes and then do drug test on the spot and I started the following week.

Pretty straight forward..I don't remember exact questions.. but it wasn't anything crazy..pretty simple and standard. I filled the app out online they called me in for the interview the whole process of the interview took about ten minutes and they pretty much hired me on the spot

Quick, and focused on Customer Service ability. Vons is really big on customer service, and expects that you will be able to deliver the same great level of service to every customer, every time.
