Entretien
I applied for a Marketing Manager position after seeing it on LinkedIn, and the recruiter from Visa called me to advise that the role was too junior for me and recommended I apply to a Director level position. Once I apply to the Director role, I had a 20 minute phone conversation with the hiring manager. The hiring manager told me on the spot that the recruiter would schedule me for an interview in person.
My super interview was about 4 hours long in the Foster City headquarters. I met 45 minutes each with the hiring manager, 2 peers from the same team, 1 marketer from another team and 1 customer insights director. Some interviewers were in person and some video chatted in from the San Francisco office.
It took a few weeks for Visa to make the final decision. They had me do one more interview with a product leader that I would lead marketing for.
I finally got the offer one month after starting the process.

Entretien
I applied for the role online. I had a screening call with the recruiter, a Zoom call with the hiring manager, and four-panel Zoom calls with the team. The process took place within three weeks. After going through the process, I was disappointed to be ghosted by the recruiting team without an update. The interviewers were courteous; however, I sensed that the interview was set up as a free consulting session for the company. I also have concerns about diversity hiring and nepotism hiring practices. Not a very positive experience given the lack of transparency and dishonest practice.

Entretien
5 interview rounds. First call with recruiter, second call with hiring manager followed by 3 F2F meetings with panel of stakeholders. The first two rounds of interviews were on the phone and a series of competency questions were asked to assess my ability to take on the role and to understand if I was a good fit. The F2F interviews are more complex and requires prep on company structure, values as well as role based questions.
