It happened 4 years ago. Then, the process was easier than now. I was first interviewed by the hiring manager with high level questions, then by the head of the group, with more high level questions, then by two of my peers. Nowadays, It's a bit similar, but the candidate have a list of questions provided to the recruiter that they have to answer first before being considered for an interview.
