I applied for Virtusa through a staffing agency. The staffing recruiter got back to me saying that my cv had been shortlisted and that I would be getting a call soon from the company HR regarding an online test. After a few days I was contacted by the HR who asked me to appear for a an online test, that very same day. I agreed and appeared for the test. There were 30 questions to be answered in 30 minutes, with no negative marking. Two days after the test, the staffing recruiter called me and informed me that I have cleared the test and the the HR will get back to me for an F2F interview. The next day the HR called me and scheduled the interview, for that very same day, within two hours. The video call went well, it was a techno-managerial round wherein I was able to answer all the questions well. The interviewer praised my high scores in the test and said that he needs to consult with the client (who apparently has some very strict criteria regarding years of experience and mandatory domain knowledge) and then he'll get back to me. After a day or two the staffing recruiter called back and said that I have not been shortlisted for the next round. Till now I have not been able to fathom what exactly went wrong in the process.
