I got a call from HR stating the interview is scheduled the next day, went for the interview which was for 5 hours and then got selected. It took 1 day for them to hire me. Lately they are now taking at least 2 weeks for the candidate to finalize.

Hiring process varies a lot depending on who takes the interview. They expect very deep knowledge from each and every level of engineer because there is no special restrictions to engineers. Each and every engineer has rights to each and every other device and resolve all types of issues.
