I was scheduled for about a week later to meet with the hiring manager. We spoke about the job, my background and I asked a lot of questions about how the company does business. I probably flubbed the interview with my response to the questions regarding my typical sales calls which I underplayed. None the less, I believe this manager is looking for something that does not exist. Unless you are a PhD with amazing interpersonal skills and 40 years of experience, you may be wasting your time. And if you fit the bill, he may be too intimidated to hire you...
