Disrespectful of candidates’ time, interviewers showing up late constantly and not paying attention during the course of the interview / ghosting after the interview. Shouldn’t be that hard to have some common courtesy.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Verkada (San Mateo, CA) en avr. 2022
Entretien
Interview process started with a recruiter reaching out, followed by a zoom interview with a manager, then a four hour on-site interview with four other people. The first person who interviewed me was the CFO of the company. One of his first questions to me is "What was your college GPA?" followed by "Did you have any academic honors at your school?". Given that I am 5 years out of college, I found this question highly irrelevant and therefore a red flag. His next questions were puzzle questions that in no way show any aptitude for the job I was applying for. The overall vibe was strange because everyone kept telling me how great it is to be in the office M-F and that remote work is terrible.
