Had stated my compensation expectations on the telephonic screening round when it was asked by the HR.
After that I had two rounds of interview which I cleared.
After that got a call from HR to submit my personal documents.
When I received the offer letter, it was much less that the expectation which I had quoted.
On having a discussion with the HR, I was told that they need a counter offer to prove what I was asking and then they would be ready to match with my expectations.
In the current market scenarios, when a candidate is serious to join an organisation is not being valued. Verizon wants a candidate to ditch an offer in hand and then they would be interested in a candidate. My question is if a candidate can ditch one company, then he can very well ditch your company too and request for a better offer from third company.
Please value candidates who wants to join your organisation and be transparent in terms of compensation. Please don’t keep changing your words.

Initially HR will contact for the interview process and it’s scheduled as per the scheduled interview timing. Process wise Human Resource team has multiple rounds of technical discussions and manager followed by HR round
