An initial HR screening and (tedious) logic test was followed by an individual case study, group case study, and job history interview. The individual case study involved determining how to measure the success of a marketing campaign from an example set of the data and interpreting provided insights, and the group case study was a collaborative exercise in creating a budget where each person was assigned a separate component of the budget to represent. The job history interview went in-depth on my resumé, asking a lot about why I wanted to move away from certain types of roles I had previously worked in favor of a company like Veeva. A final in-person interview was focused on really ironing out why I wanted to work at Veeva. The whole process moved relatively fast, but was highly intensive and draining. After receiving a verbal offer and asking for my intent to accept the offer, however, Veeva backed-out and I highly caution against investing time in this interview process. Their reasons for backing-out of the offer furthermore go against their values of employee success and doing the right thing as they expressed a concern in my ability to handle challenge due to a public, humanitarian campaign I had engaged in.
