The longest most drawn out interview process I've ever been through. I applied online and a after about a month received a list of questions from a recruiter. After replying to those questions it was almost another month before a hiring manager reached out to me. After 4 calls with them and 3 other people over 2 more months they asked me to prepare a case study. After presenting the case study it was almost 3 weeks before I heard back and they had decided not to hire. I also heard after the fact from two former managers that they were contacted as references and they gave me very positive recommendations.
The lack of responsiveness from the team reflected very poorly on the company, and the fact they were willing to string someone along for this duration, after giving nothing but positive feedback makes me wonder how serious they were about actually hiring someone, given after almost 7 months the position is still listed on their website. Others hint that they may be using these complex case studies as free consulting, but honestly who knows.
The majority of the people I spoke to seemed very nice, smart, but overwhelmed by a company that has grown quickly. I would caution anyone applying here to get clear timelines for the process, their responses and scheduling follow ups as they were abysmal at this in my experience. If I hadn't known someone at the company who recommended me from the role I likely would have dropped out and accepted an earlier offer, and that was my biggest mistake.
