J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Vanguard (Malvern, PA) en févr. 2024
Entretien
I had 3 rounds of interview:
- Technical
- Panel
- Final
Everything was fine until the final round. The hiring manager seemed uninterested. The questions I asked seemed like a bothersome. I did not enjoy the conversation.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Technical Q: Logs, metrics, specific commands
Behavioral Q: how do you ask for help? How do you prioritize the tasks?
I asked: How many people do you manage? How often is the deployment? How do you mitigate errors on the prod?

Entretien
The process was very pleasant and the interviewers were all easy to converse with. I enjoyed meeting them.
1 Hiring Manager
1 Hiring Manager Peer (Semi Technical)
3 Panel Technical Interview
The panel interview was basic and delved into basics of AWS VPC, IAMS, Cloudfront, EC2 RDS and Peer connections. It was conversational so you're answering questions from memory. No the best way to judge a person's knowledge and experience with AWS. If you're knowledgeable and experienced but a bit rusty, my advice is to brush up on your AWS basics and you should be fine.
