I applied online and was contacted 2 weeks later for an interview. I interviewed with the unit's nurse manager and then I shadowed one of the care partners for a little over an hour. I was contacted via email a week later asking for references. After providing references, a few days later I received a call from the HR rep with an offer of employment.

I applied and got called for an interview almost exactly a month later. I drove 2 hours for the interview and it last 20 minutes. They asked very simple questions and gave me a quick tour. I checked my application status that night and saw that I was declined the job. The whole process was very pleasant and ideal except that I felt they wasted my time even calling me for an interview, knowing I had to travel, and probably already knowing that they were not going to hire me for the position.
