They ask for references after the second and third interviews and use a third party to access them. This made the process quick and they actual do review these references.

Extremely unprofessional, I have a Master's degree and over five years of experience in this field, and from what it looked like, they were hiring multiple candidates. Do some research on your candidates before writing them off completely.
