Pros:
The recruiter was friendly and responsive.
The process moved quickly.
Cons:
The job description did not align with the actual role. While the position was listed as a Client Experience role, the interview focused heavily on marketing, SEM strategies, and paid media campaigns—none of which were mentioned in the job posting.
My resume clearly did not reflect marketing experience, yet the hiring team proceeded with the interview and then asked highly technical marketing questions rather than discussing client experience strategies or techniques.
This led to a frustrating and ultimately time-wasting experience, as the company could have easily identified this mismatch during the initial screening or simply read the resume.
The hiring manager continued asking in-depth marketing questions even after I clarified that this was outside my expertise, which felt uncomfortable and unproductive.
Advice to Management:
Be transparent about the actual skills and experience required for the role. If a position has a specific focus, the job description should reflect that. This would save time for both candidates and the hiring team while ensuring a smoother and more productive interview process. Also, the hiring manager's approach felt transactional and cold, as if they were simply checking boxes rather than genuinely engaging in a conversation. It didn’t feel like they were truly interested in getting to know me or my potential fit for the role. The worst interview I have ever had.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The interviewer asked detailed questions about optimizing paid media campaigns and structuring SEM strategies, none of which were mentioned in the job description. There were no questions related to client experience management, and the interview seemed to focus entirely on skills more aligned with a marketing role, not the responsibilities outlined in the job description
Best process I’ve been through over the last 6 months. Recruitment team quickly responded with application updates and next steps. Kindness all around and would do it all over again!
