Was more of a conversation than an interview. Wanted to gage personality because everything was learnable on the job. Manager and assistant manager were present. They want someone who is energetic and eager to learn

Super easy and basic questions, they ask about your experience and availability. It is also a personality screening because you have to be personable in order to give apartment tours and talk to people on the phone. It is a good way to get to know the manager so definitely ask them some questions too.

I applied for a part-time leasing consultant position at 2 different locations around the same time. It took a month for my application to be reviewed and get offered an interview. I went through 2 rounds of interviews for the first location and never received an offer or rejection letter. After interviewing at the second location I was told that I would have to wait for more interviews to be conducted because the job application was reopened. This process continued for 3 more months. During this time I was in communication with the manager and given multiple timelines for when a decision would be made. Finally after 4 months of many false promises and conflicting information regarding the position I received a rejection. They did not have the courtesy to send me a rejection letter until I asked myself. During the interview process I was made to believe that I had a fair chance at the position as it is entry level and pays minimum wage however, in the end they changed their requirements to having a bachelors degree. Overall this was an extremely unprofessional process and not once did I feel like my time was valued.
